North Boise Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve the Boise area.
Local, small, and a proud part of the North Boise Community. Come on in and get to know us. We are here for you.
A founding principle for Dr. Frost at North Boise Veterinary Clinic is to provide fear-free and comfortable visits for all of his patients. His understanding of the special bond between pets and their guardians helps him tailor diagnostic and treatment plans to each pet and family. Dr. Frost understands that you and your pet are special and unique, and your pet’s care should also be special and unique. He feels grateful to be able to lead a team of like-minded professionals with the goal of optimal treatment of each patient and family.
joshua frost, dvm
Dr. Frost’s veterinary experience started far before graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He chose the same path as his father and older brother. From a young age he was surrounded by dogs and cats, working with animals on a daily basis in the family veterinary clinic. This early, constant exposure to animal behavior has grown into his intuitive connection with animals. He practiced in Wisconsin from 1996 to 1999 and then in the Treasure Valley from 2000 to present.
Dr. Frost is Level 3 Certified in Fear Free practice techniques. This advanced training involves the considerate and gentle treatment of animals. Dr. Frost's goals include training pets to enjoy their visit to the vet. Please see below or visit www.fearfreepets.com for more information on this practice style.
The Frost family lives in North Boise and spends their free time enjoying the natural resources of Idaho and the North End.
